In September 2023, Europe's charging station market for new energy vehicles continued its rapid growth, as various countries launched policies to accelerate the deployment of charging stations to meet the increasing demand for electric vehicle charging.

According to the Federal Network Agency, Germany plans to install 200,000 public charging stations across the country, with the majority being fast-charging DC stations, to be built by four energy companies. This move will further strengthen Germany's leading position in the new energy vehicle charging station market and provide reference and guidance for other European countries.

Enel X, Italy's largest energy company, announced the launch of 70 new charging stations in Spain, providing high-speed charging services. The company plans to install another 1,000 charging stations across Europe by 2023, further expanding its share of the European new energy vehicle charging station market.

Dutch energy company Eneco Group partnered with several European automakers to provide 3,500 fast-charging stations in the UK, Germany, Belgium, and the Netherlands. This cooperation project will provide more convenient charging services for new energy vehicle users, further promoting the popularization and development of electric vehicles.

In addition, Swedish energy company Vattenfall deployed 1,000 high-power charging stations in Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, and Switzerland to enhance the coverage and convenience of charging infrastructure. This cooperation project will provide more efficient and faster charging services for new energy vehicle users, further promoting the popularization and development of electric vehicles.

With Europe's energy transition and the accelerated pursuit of zero emissions, the demand for new energy vehicle charging stations has surged. Governments around the continent have introduced policies to accelerate the deployment of charging stations to meet the increasing demand for electric vehicle charging. In the future, Europe's new energy vehicle charging station market is expected to continue its rapid growth trajectory, making positive contributions to Europe's pursuit of green travel and sustainable development.
